Filling Guide Pouf Ottoman

The Henlee pouf~ottoman is provided un filled (cover and insert only) and features safety zips which require a paper clip to unlock. See diagram below for operating the safety zips:

We recommend filling with approximately 100 litres of bean bag filling which can be purchased from major retailers (Kmart, Big W, Target, Spotlight if you're in Australia). Alternatively you can fill with foam, pillows, cushion inserts or a combination. 

FILLING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Before filling, iron out any crease of the vegan leather cover by ironing the BACKSIDE of the leather fabric on medium heat. We strongly recommend this to ensure it looks its best when filled. The insert is difficult to remove after the pouf s densely filled so don't skip this step.

  2. Ensure the cotton insert is INSIDE the cover before and when filling.

  3. Phone a friend - filling with bean bag filling is a two person job.

  4. Fill in a plugged (dry & empty bathtub or an enclosed area to contain any spillage.

  5. As you are filling, pause and close the zip every so often, then shake the beans into place.

EXTRA FILLING TIPS:

  • A large funnel and a jug may be helpful for pouring the bean bag filling into the opening.

  • To achieve a densely filled look, we recommend you use a funnel and pour bean bag filling with a jug, then close the zip, gently shake, then re-open and repeat until it is full.

  • Once the pouf is in use and the beans have relaxed into place, you may find you can top it up some more OR place a cushion insert into the pouf to get it extra plump.

  • Over time the beans will condense and you may wish to top them up.

    Unfortunately, we are unable to make any amendments to an order after it has been placed. This includes name and address changes.

    Items purchased during the sale are not eligible for refunds or exchanges due to a change of mind - store credit will be issued for these items, providing they meet our full returns criteria. 

    Seconds sale items are final sale and are not eligible for an exchange or return.

    As all items will be discounted during this storewide sale, refunds for change of mind purchased will not be permitted, so please choose carefully. Please refer to our full returns policy here

    Orders which include in-stock items and pre-order items will not be dispatched until all the items are in stock. If you have wish to have the in-stock items sent first, please place separate orders. 

    Due to the volume of orders expected, a longer dispatch time will be required. In-stock products will be dispatched within 5-10 business days.

    Please allow an extra 5 business days in addition to the above for any custom orders with name personalisation (backpacks and Christmas stockings). 

    We ship orders via Australia Post standard shipping and a range of couriers. There is an option to upgrade to Express shipping at checkout. International orders are shipped via Australia Post International Express, excluding orders to the norther USA and Canada, which are shipped via DHL Express if the value of the order exceeds $150. 

    As we are transitioning some of our products into a larger warehouse in VIC, some products will ship from our Perth warehouse and some will ship from our VIC warehouse.

    We are currently unable to ship some of our larger items internationally, such as our floor cushions. If you have any queries about shipping specific items internationally, or cannot checkout with your selected items, please contact us at help@henlee.co

    As our products will already be discounted, no additional discount codes or bundles will be available during the sale.
